» For the Sake of the Song: The Story of Anderson Fair
For more than 30 years, Houston music venue Anderson Fair has fostered and nurtured some of the most important musical performers and writers in the country, including Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriters Nanci Griffith, Lyle Lovett, Lucinda Williams, and the late Townes Van Zandt. For Sake Of The Song: The Story of Anderson Fair is a 90-minute documentary-in-progress that highlights "The Fair" and it's impact on Texas music. The film is an initiative of Ghost Ranch Films. The film has received generous support from the Houston Endowment, the Cultural Arts Council of Houston/Harris County, and the Houston film and television production community.
