Assistant Camera 101 with Brian Aichlmayr, hosted by TexCam

Learn to become an Assistant Camera from Houston's best AC. Brian will go over the basics of being a top notch Assistant Camera from lens handeling to focus pulling. He will talk about his vast expereince on set and give attendees valuable tips on how to turn that first job into a second and a third. He is passionate about visual storytelling and SWAMP is excited that he is willing to pass on his knowledge to others. Brian is part of the ICG: International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600) as a 1st Assistant Camera and is an Associate Member of the Society of Camera Operators.  A home grown talent, Brian attened HCC's Film program through 2010 and began his career there working on a couple of independent features as a grip and then as a camera assistant.  This workshop will be COVID safe, socially distanced and limited in numbers. Everyone is asked to wear a mask. We will have bottled water on hand but no food. The workshop goes from 9 AM (check in at 8:45) to 4 pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
